RÉSUMÉ. On a beautiful summer day, Sven is hiking with his family and loses his niece in the forest while they are playing hide and seek. He finds the girl drowning in the lake below and rescues her from the brink. Relieved, he holds her tightly to him just as Astrid, the au pair, appears.
